What El Niño means for the coming Tasmanian season, and how you can plan ahead.
El Niño has officially been declared, even as parts of Tasmania received up to 80mm of rain in the same week. To help us better understand what El Niño actually means for Tasmania, last month we were joined by the Bureau of Meteorology to unpack the key climate drivers at play. This month, we’ll be joined by Pinion’s Jason Lynch to explore what these conditions mean for on-farm decision-making, and how producers can use this information to plan ahead.
Marek will also share his seasonal update from around the state.

This webinar is part of a series of monthly webinars exploring seasonal conditions using real-time localised weather and soil moisture information and translating it into practical decision making on Tasmanian farms.
The Seasonal Update webinar series is delivered by Ag Logic with support from the TAS Farm Innovation Hub and funding from the Australian Government's Future Drought Fund.
